Music is one way for the church to join together to express worship to the Lord. At Oak View we have two worship services with different worship styles. Our classic service is at 9:30 a.m. and includes the Oak View choir and hymns. The modern service is at 11:00 a.m. and has contemporary praise songs led by our worship band. During each service you can expect to experience beautiful music mixed with rich lyrics that teach us more about God and His Word. Those who have abilities in music are encouraged to contact the church office to find out how to get involved with the worship team.

Our Adult Worship Choir plays a key role in worship on a weekly basis.

The adult worship choir fulfills this calling in three key ways: setting an example in worship, modeling what each member should be doing; pointing the congregation to God by singing songs and anthems that glorify Him; and encouraging Oak View members and guests to grow in their worship life through personal conversation and interaction.
An exciting place for seniors to make music, sing joyfully, and minister to the community.

The Jubilee Singers, under the direction of Woody Schober, is Oak View's choir for all senior adults who enjoy singing and praising God. While primarily a choir, the Jubilee Singers also minister on a regular basis in nursing homes and retirement communities throughout our city. Through music and laughter, they bring joy to all with whom they come in contact! The Jubilee Singers sing monthly during our evening worship service, and also for our annual Hanging of the Green service in December.
The Jubilee Singers rehearse every Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. during the school year. If you would like more information, please call the church office.
Our children's and preschool choirs are exciting places for children and preschoolers to learn about music and worshiping God.

At Oak View, we seek to begin developing young worshipers at a very early age. Since worship is a lifestyle, we want to begin building habits of worship as soon as possible. Our children and preschoolers are exposed to fun yet Christ-centered music that teaches them valuable lessons about music and worship.
Our children's and preschool choirs sing at various times throughout the year, both in the morning worship service and in special programs. The highlight of the year is our annual children's Christmas musical in December. Kids have opportunities to learn drama, choreography, and music throughout this exciting event.
Both children's and preschool choirs meet weekly during the school year on Wednesday nights at 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Children are divided into two age groups: 1-3 grade and 4-6 grade. For more information about our children's and preschool choirs, please call the church office.
